Well, this is a hard one. I received so many special birthday gifts over the years, that I can't say exactly which was the most special. However, I can say that the one I'll remember forever, will be my Donald Duck's pen.


I received it on my 17th birthday, from my dear friend sofisofas, who knew I had an obsession for Donald. Contrarly to what you may be thinking, she didn't buy me a pen of Donald Duck. She bought a simple pen - I think it was from Bic - and then she used plasticine to make the shape of Donald's body, which serves as a base. On top of the pen she made Donald's hat.


When I saw that birthday gift, I couldn't believe what I had in my hands. I remained speechless for some minutes, while my eyes were glittering, in surprise. It was the most original birthday gift I ever received. I loved it and still do. Since that day, the pen has been on my desk, in display.


Oh, I remembered now. On my 18th birthday I received another original birthday gift. Someone bought me a star, a real star from the sky ! At the time, I thought it was the most amazing gift ever - and still is. However, later I found out how easy it is to buy stars .. xD If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll tell you the website :)


So, yeah. Those two are my most special gift. The Donald Duck pen I already explained why, and the star .. Well, it's a star ! That makes it special enough for me :D

I would keep it, no matter where I'd find it.

One time, when I was on holidays in Algarve, I found 20€ in a diner of the hotel and I kept it. But first, I warned my mother and then I pocked it xD Finding is not the same as stealing .. la la la

However, if I found something like a wallet or a purse, I would turn it in. Money is totally different. It doesn't have any id, so .. Why would I turn it to the library/diner/pub ? They would pocket it themselves ! So, obviously, if I was the one who found it, I would be the one to keep it !

See ? I confessed xD

Sorry ! I know I haven't posted for ages, but I'm having the craziest time of my life ! Not in a good way, though. At least, not completely. I'm working at a Call Center and I'm loving it ! However, I barely have time for something else .. Not to mention I'm days away of my first exam - for which I haven't studied much. It has just been a hell of a month ! And I don't think it will get better, since on October I'll start my classes and keep working. All I need is to find a balance between tasks - which is kinda hard for me. Oh well, we'll see.


Let's talk about something that really matters. LoveSick ! First of all, I'd like to thank my amazing beta reader (do_come_in) who betaed the Prologue. Which - I can guarantee you - she done amazingly ! I'm hoping I'll publish it within the next week, since I already finished Chapter One. I'm still editing, though, and Hannah (my beta reader) hasn't seen it yet, so .. Don't expect me to updated until the other week ! As of Chapter Two, it's going well. I'm almost finishing - I'm writing, at the moment, the last scene of the chapter ! I'm very excited about this fanfic ! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, writing it.


As time passes by, November is getting closer and closer, and all of you know what that mean. NaNoWriMo is coming ! Yay ! And yes, I'm going to participate. If I'll reach the 50k words goal or not, it's unknown. At least, I'll try ! Don't have much to tell you about my NaNoWriMo project, but I promise I'll let you know as soon as I have more details about it.

After months since I've registered here, I finally got the time to work on my LiveJournal ! Hooray ! :D
I'm still not an expert in this thing .. Sometimes I get lost xD But it's fine ! I'll get it, eventually.
So, this is the place where you'll be able to follow my writing developments and read some of my stuff, since I joined some writing communities. I'm very excited about this whole thing !
I doubt any of you know me, because I've only written in Portuguese, mostly. But that''s about to change ! I'm going to let the world know what I'm capable of, so .. Beware, famous writers xD
